Volunteer Advocate at MICC

Lisa Keitel is a dedicated advocate with extensive experience in supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals, as well as promoting patient safety. Currently serving as a Volunteer Advocate at Minnesota Independence College and Community, Lisa has lobbied for funding, participated in educational seminars, and engaged in local conservation as a Co-Leader for MYBirdClub. In various capacities, Lisa has contributed to the Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety and Planetree International, focusing on patient and family partnerships. With a strong background in early childhood intervention and a BA in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Lisa has also designed unique jewelry through reappEARRINGS and remains actively involved in community advisory councils at Allina Health.
