Our vineyards, spanning more than 88 acres, are meticulously cultivated across rolling hills, with Wine Creek gently meandering along our 100-acre estate. As winemakers and stewards of the land, we embrace a terroir-driven approach, allowing nature to influence our winemaking process. Our sustainably-farmed property, nestled on the hillsides west of Dry Creek Valley, offers the perfect backdrop for cultivating balanced fruit and crafting full-flavored, complex wines. From sun-drenched days moderated by cool coastal fog to volcanic gravelly soils and dramatic topography, every element contributes to our wines' elegance and expression.

Since our establishment in 1979 by Jean-Jacques Michel, a native of Switzerland, and the subsequent joining of Jacques Pierre Schlumberger in 1991, our wines have garnered attention worldwide. With a legacy of winemaking spanning over 400 years, Michel-Schlumberger embodies both European roots and the influence of the Spanish in early Californian history.
