Lisa Ruby

Lisa Ruby is an experienced attorney who currently serves as the Director of Advocacy at the Michigan Advocacy Program. Motivated to improve the lives of low-income individuals, Lisa has engaged in informal advocacy with legislators, provided support to Legal Aid and pro bono attorneys, and acted as lead counsel in affirmative litigation. With a strong focus on public benefits, Lisa has contributed to impact litigation and training throughout their career. Lisa holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Michigan, along with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from the same institution.
