Michigan Benchmark offers three products that deliver unmatched transparency and usefulness all for $10,000 per year per district. Our products deliver unique views of districts finances in three time dimensions: past, present, and future.

In the present, our Budget Navigator product extracts data from school a district's financial system. Every month we transform the districts general fund expenses and revenues into intuitive, accessible, and understandable charts and graphs that help stakeholders understand where the district's expenses and revenues compare to the adopted budget. Users can quickly see the percentage and absolute consumption or attainment by budget categories (from major, to minor, to sub-minor). Further, creating this historical capture allows for year over year comparison of expenses and revenues by month which positions Boards and administration to understand how each financial year is developing in real time and with historical context.

Our Budget Modeling Service enables. view into the future. District's work collaboratively with Michigan Benchmark to create three budget scenarios over a five year horizon. The scenarios differ by their level of optimism and pessimism in key revenue budget variables such as enrollment and Foundation Allowance. Meanwhile among the expense variables, all key categories are accounted for.

For the past view, the Michigan Benchmark Report offers a historical view of all district expenses and revenues with over a decade of history while also enabling comparison with similar Michigan school districts.
