David Young

David Young has a robust background in instructional product development and educational technology, with over a decade of experience at Michigan Virtual, where responsibilities have included roles from Instructional Designer to Director of Instructional Product Development since June 2009. Prior to this, David served as the Technology Coordinator at the University of Florida's P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School from August 2006 to June 2009, focusing on the integration of technology and faculty professional development. Additional experience includes a brief stint as a Curriculum Writer at Explore Learning and an Adjunct Instructor position at Florida Virtual School. David's teaching career began as a Mathematics Instructor for the School Board of Alachua County. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S. and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Florida, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Calvin University.
