Micro-Cap Solutions is an executive search and talent solutions firm supporting private equity portfolio companies, search funds, and high-growth businesses.

Our roots trace back to Ninth Street Capital Partners, a lower middle-market investment firm with a strong track record of scaling businesses. A key driver of NSCP’s success has been strategic talent acquisition, organizational design, and HR expertise - critical elements for growth-stage companies.

Founded by Matt Swatek, Micro-Cap Solutions is backed by NSCP’s Managing Partners, who share a vision for building a best-in-class search and talent firm. We specialize in supporting lower middle-market private equity firms, search funds, and growth equity investors as they scale operations and professionalize in the face of "must-deliver" situations.

Our work generally falls into three areas:

Executive Search – identifying and placing senior leaders and key functional hires across operations, finance, commercial, and technical roles.

Recruiting & Staffing Solutions – through our nearshore recruiting platform Skillya, we provide embedded recruiting support and scalable hiring solutions for organizations that need ongoing recruiting bandwidth.

HR & Talent Advisory – supporting organizational design, hiring strategy, and HR infrastructure for companies professionalizing their operations.

Unlike traditional search firms, we take a more operator-oriented approach. Our goal is not only to help companies hire great people, but to help build the recruiting processes, structure, and talent strategy that allow organizations to scale sustainably.
