Dan Ackerman

Dan Ackerman currently serves as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief at Micro Center, overseeing the new publication Micro Center News since November 2023. Previously, Dan held the position of Editor-in-Chief at Gizmodo from June to November 2023, where significant contributions were made to the publication's editorial strategy and audience engagement. As the Editorial Director at CNET from October 2020 to June 2023, Dan led coverage across various tech sectors while managing a team of expert reviewers and reporters. Dan's extensive background in media includes significant roles at CBS Interactive, Clubplanet.com, UGO Networks, and Beverage World magazine, along with early experience as a radio host and producer. Dan Ackerman holds a Master's degree in Media Study/Public Communication from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies from the University at Buffalo.
