Bryan McLaughlin is the founder and CEO of Micro-Leads. Bryan has over fifteen years of experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on implantable devices and bioelectronics.

Bryan started their career at Draper Laboratory, where they launched a new medical device business area focused on miniaturization, wireless, and ultra-low power bio-electronics for neuromodulation. Bryan then moved to GlaxoSmithKline, where they served as consulting engineering director and technical strategist for the company's Bioelectronics Medicines R&D Unit. In this role, Bryan developed an engineering technology portfolio, launched a research program, and created a development roadmap for emerging bioelectronic medicines.

More recently, Bryan has been providing technical value proposition and technical due diligence services for Action Potential Venture Capital. Bryan is also a hands-on technical visionary, architect, and designer of highly-miniaturized implantable medical device technologies for advanced neuro-modulation and bioelectronic medicine.

Bryan has an excellent technical background in electromagnetics, micro-system design, antenna design, wireless telemetry, biotelemetry, wearable electronics, and implantable medical devices. Bryan also has extensive experience in grant-writing and fundraising.
