Micro-Tracers, Inc. was founded in 1961 by Dr. Sylvan Eisenberg, a PhD chemist out of Stanford University. We are the only company in the world whose primary focus is manufacturing analytical tracers used for quality assurance purposes by the formula feed industry. We also manufacture colored corn cob grits for coding commercial and research feeds, as well as selenium sources for use in manufacturing feed premixes. Recently, we have developed microengraved tracers using technology from the semiconductor industry for use in pharmaceuticals and other industries as an anticounterfeiting measure. We call them SECUR -- an acronym for Safe, Easy, Customizable, Useful, and Reliable.
