Cameron Reid is a computational microbiologist with a strong passion for applying 'omics technologies to address challenges in global food security, natural resources, and human health. Currently, Cameron serves as a CERC Fellow at CSIRO, focusing on microbiome assembly and bioremediation of contaminants in biosolid-amended soils. Previously, Cameron held the position of Research Associate at the University of Technology Sydney, where the work centered on the computational analysis of E. coli genomes in relation to antimicrobial resistance. Cameron earned a PhD in Microbial Genomics, Computational Biology, and Bioinformatics from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by a Bachelor of Biotechnology with Honors.
