Microbify offers smart solutions for tough microbes. We are experts in anaerobic microorganisms and focus on their chances and challenges in gas production and storage. We can use some of these microbes in underground storage facilities for the production of green methane, replacing natural gas. On the other hand, we help our customers to protect their infrastructure from biocorrosion and we keep their hydrogen storage systems clean from microbial contamination which would lower the gas quality. Focus. - hydrogen storage - underground gas storage - microbially-induced corrosion (MIC) / biocorrosion - biomethanation - biofilms Sampling. With specialized equipment we perform anaerobic, sterile sampling of liquids and gases on surface and sub-surface gas infrastructure under high pressure. Our experienced partner for underground sampling is SOCON GmbH. Analysis. Samples undergo customized analyses in our lab that may include: - cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms (20 mL - 300 L) - cell isolation - microscopy and staining - DNA analysis - substrate testing - gas and liquid chromatography (GC, HPLC) - liquid and solid chemical analysis Guarantee. We see the big picture. Taking additional data and novel possibilities into account helps solving your issue. Mission. We enable a smooth transition towards renewables without unpleasant micro-surprises.
