Chris Pillar

Chris Pillar has over 17 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily focused on bringing new anti-infectives to market. Chris held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Micromyx, LLC from 2011 to 2019 and currently serves as the Director of Science and Operations at Microbiologics, Inc. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Eurofins Medinet, Inc. and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School, Schepens Eye Research Institute, and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Chris Pillar attended Kalamazoo College from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Chris then pursued a PhD in Microbiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2001.
