Thomas Lendvay has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 1989, they began their career as a Pharmacist Technician at CVS Pharmacy. Thomas then pursued their medical career, completing a Surgery/Urology Residency at Emory University School of Medicine from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they joined Seattle Children's Hospital in 2004 as a Pediatric Urologist and served as the Co-Director of the Robotic Surgery Center. Thomas also held roles as a Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and served as Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of CSATS, Inc., which was later acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2018. Thomas co-founded Spi Surgical, Inc. and MicrobiomX, Inc. during their time at Seattle Children's. In 2014, Lendvay co-founded C-SATS, Inc. and served as its Chief Medical Officer until 2018. More recently, in 2020, they co-founded Tend, a company focused on addressing microbiome health conditions through novel technologies, and Singletto, where they collaborate on developing pathogen-destroying singlet oxygen solutions.
Thomas Lendvay earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and German at Rice University from 1991 to 1995. Thomas Lendvay also holds additional certifications including being Board Certified in Pediatric Urology by the American Board of Urology, obtained in 2009, and Board Certified in Urology, obtained in 2008.
