Gerard Harper has been working in the field of business and finance since 2005. Gerard started their career at Nomura Code Securities Limited as an Associate and Vice President of Corporate Finance. In 2008, they joined NBGI Ventures as an Investment Manager. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Board Observer for Quanta Fluid Solutions and a Non-executive Director for both Reverse Medical Corporation and Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics. In 2013, they became a Partner at Aperio Strategy, a strategy and communications consultancy. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Cambridge Animal Health. In 2021, they began their current role as Non Executive Director at Microbiosensor, a company focused on point of care diagnostics for improved patient care.
Gerard Harper obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge between 2004 and 2005. Gerard also earned a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology & Physiology from The University of Manchester between 1988 and 1991.
