Patrick Green is a synthetic biologist with a focus on microbial engineering, actively addressing complex biological challenges through innovative research. Currently a Senior Research Scientist at Microbiotica since 2025, Patrick previously served as an Undergraduate Tutor at the University of Oxford, where they guided students in plant-microbe interactions and molecular biology techniques. They conducted research at the University of Cambridge on the epigenetic regulation of stem cells and completed a research internship at CC Bio, designing genetic biosensor circuits. Patrick holds a PhD in Synthetic Biology from the University of Oxford and has a Master’s in Plant Pathology from the University of Bristol, along with a BSc in Biological Sciences from Durham University.
