Matthew Stricker

Matthew Stricker, OSMT, has extensive experience in the biotechnology and quality control sectors. At Sanofi Pasteur, as a Co-op Program Intern, responsibilities included sequencing bacteria, performing Limulus Amebocyte Lysate testing, and conducting health and safety inspections. Subsequently, at Microbix, positions ranged from Quality Control Technician Level 1 to Quality Control Analyst 3 (Senior Level), with tasks involving final release testing of antigens, maintenance of mammalian cell cultures, and oversight of health and safety procedures. Matthew also contributed to the development of new electronic documentation systems and provided training on Standard Operating Procedures. Education includes an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology Technologist Research Co-op from Seneca Polytechnic and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from York University.
