Wilfried Ablain

Wilfried Ablain serves as CEO of Microbs since September 2015, following significant leadership roles in the biotech sector. Prior to Microbs, Ablain held the position of Directeur R&D Cytométrie and Directeur de site at bioMerieux from August 2012 to December 2014, overseeing a team of 11 in R&D and a feasibility and technology support team of 4, while fostering collaborations and conducting competitive analysis. From April 2010 to July 2012, Ablain was Development Manager at AES Chemunex, managing a molecular biology development team and coordinating project parameters, risk management, and partnerships. Earlier experience includes serving as Chef de projet R et D at Pall Life Sciences from January 2006 to March 2010, focusing on the development and industrialization of molecular diagnostic kits and enhancing production methods. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers and studies at Université Rennes 1.
