Alon Cohen

Alon Cohen is a seasoned Senior Firmware Engineer with extensive experience in developing sophisticated firmware in the tech industry. Currently at Microchip Technology Inc. since May 2018, Alon specializes in NVRAM Flash Drive development, including the implementation of FIPS 140-2 features. Prior to this, Alon held a similar position at Microsemi Corporation, focusing on enterprise storage solutions and complex firmware debugging. At PMC-Sierra, Alon served as a Firmware Team Leader, spearheading the development of GPON and EPON OLT Firmware. Alon's earlier roles include leadership in multimedia services development at IXI mobile and software engineering positions at Actelis Networks, Globaloop, and RAD Data Communications. Alon holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
