Alpesh Thakar

Alpesh Thakar is an experienced verification engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Manager of Verification Engineering at Microchip Technology since July 2013, Alpesh has held various roles including Project Lead in Verification. Previous experience includes positions as Senior Staff Verification Engineer at STEC, Inc., Staff Verification Engineer at Ericsson, where work involved the SPIDER Network Processor utilizing SystemVerilog, and contractor at Broadcom. Earlier roles included Senior Verification Engineer at Centillium Communications and Verification Engineer at Einfochips Ltd. Alpesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from B.V.M Engineering College, and completed Higher Secondary education in Science from Nutan Vidya Vihar in Ahmedabad, India.
