Dan Marquez

Dan Marquez is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology and defense sectors. Currently a Senior Technical Training Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since April 2006, Dan previously served as a Senior Field Applications Engineer and Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with the same company, focusing on embedded systems and field applications. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Engineer at Schneider Electric, where Dan led projects in metering applications, and positions at Raytheon Missile Systems, Hughes Aircraft Company, and General Dynamics, contributing to defense technologies over a 15-year span. Dan also taught as an Adjunct Faculty member at Middle Tennessee State University. Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
