Darren Wenn

Darren Wenn is an accomplished technical leader with extensive experience in embedded software and system design. Since joining Microchip Technology Inc. in 2005, Darren Wenn has progressed to the role of Associate Technical Fellow, overseeing a global team of approximately 420 employees and focusing on delivering optimal software solutions. Prior roles at Microchip include Senior Staff Function Group Leader and Staff Embedded Solutions Engineer, both involving similar leadership responsibilities. Earlier in the career, positions held at Beta Lasermike and QLon involved designing FPGA-based systems and consultancy on fieldbus control systems, respectively. Darren Wenn also contributed to academia as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Reading. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cybernetics from the University of Reading and studies at Royal Holloway, University of London.
