Don Mills

Don Mills is a highly experienced Senior Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc since 2006, specializing in ASIC design and providing SystemVerilog support and training. Don has been a member of the IEEE SystemVerilog Tech Committee since 2004 and served as an engineer for the IEEE 1801 committee from 2008 to 2011. Prior to Microchip, Don worked as an engineer and consultant at LCDM Engineering, where training in Verilog and SystemVerilog was a key focus. Additional roles include contractor positions at Utah Scientific and multiple leadership positions as chair for various SNUG conferences in Europe, San Jose, and Boston from 1998 to 2004. Earlier in the career, Don held engineering positions at L3 Communications, Honeywell, and Sperry/Unisys, with a strong emphasis on ASIC design. Education was completed at Brigham Young University between 1979 and 1985.
