Early career roles included significant contributions at Philips Semiconductors and VLSI, where Doug developed and maintained test and demo software for various set-top box systems. A transition to hardware-focused positions at QuickSilver Technology involved designing evaluation boards and writing VHDL for FPGA systems. At Danger, Doug specialized in RF testing for mobile devices, creating software for comprehensive sensitivity testing. Subsequently, positions at Microsemi Corporation and Microchip Technology Inc. advanced expertise in lab testing, accelerated life testing of RF MOSFET products, and the development of test fixtures.
