Emma Smith

Emma Smith currently serves as the Associate Director of Compensation & Benefits for Europe at Microchip Technology Inc., a position held since June 2014, where responsibilities include managing pay and benefits, overseeing brokers and third-party suppliers, and analyzing market data to attract and retain talent across Europe. Prior to this role, Emma spent nearly two decades at hibu in various capacities, including Group Compensation & Benefits Analyst, Reward Manager, and Training Manager, where duties involved supporting global pay processes, managing international assignments, and collaborating across regions such as Europe, the US, Asia, and Latin America. Emma holds a BA (Hons) degree from The University of Huddersfield and completed early education at The Abbey School in Reading.
