Hans Schmitz

Hans Schmitz is an experienced FPGA design expert with 28 years in digital hardware design, specializing in RISC-V, ARM, and various digital circuits. Currently, Hans serves as the FPGA Function Group Lead at Microchip Technology Inc. and has held several significant roles, including Area Technical Manager at Actel and Microsemi Corporation. Hans also has a solid educational background, pursuing a Masters in Management of Technology at The Wharton School and studying Cryptography at Stanford University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University.
