Jeff Dansereau

Jeff Dansereau currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Microchip Technology Inc., leading research and development for the Frequency and Time Systems Business Unit since May 2021. Prior to this role, Jeff held the position of Associate Director of Engineering at Microchip Corporation, where responsibilities included engineering leadership for the Frequency and Time Business Unit following Microchip's acquisition of Microsemi. From December 2013 to April 2019, Jeff was the Director of Engineering for the Government Systems Group within the Frequency and Time Division at Microsemi. Jeff's career began at Symmetricom, where significant contributions were made as Vice President and Senior Director of Engineering, leading the clocks development team. Earlier experience includes a role as a Staff Scientist/Engineer/Project Leader and Director of Quality at Summit Technology, focusing on the design of lasers for large laser eye surgery systems. Jeff holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
