Jeff Mitchell

Jeff Mitchell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and communications across various industries. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Writer at Microchip Technology Inc. since October 2022, Jeff previously held the role of Technical Writer at TriWest Healthcare Alliance/Progilisys Solutions, where documentation of IT security procedures and project management collaboration were key responsibilities. As a part-time Lead Film Critic for the Phoenix Film Festival since September 2015, Jeff writes movie reviews, interviews prominent figures in the film industry, and participates as a judge for festival awards. Prior to these roles, Jeff spent two decades at Intel Corporation in various capacities, including Transition Change Management Lead, where the development of communication and training strategies for software releases was emphasized. Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
