Jon Hoffman

Jon Hoffman is an experienced engineer specializing in SiC applications at Microchip Technology Inc. since 2023. Previously, Jon served as a Staff Electrical Engineer at Woodward, Inc. from 2022 to 2023 and held roles at Advanced Energy as an Applications Engineer and Electrical Engineer II from 2016 to 2022, focusing on high voltage DC/pulsed DC power supplies for thin film plasma processing. Jon's early career includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Engineering Research Center for Extreme Ultraviolet Science and Technology, where responsibilities involved thin film processing and characterization techniques, and at CSU Accelerator Laboratory, where magnetic field mapping and circuit design were key tasks.
