Karim Traore has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving in an R&D role at Microsemi since December 2005. Prior to this position, Karim held senior engineering roles at NEC America and worked as a Systems Architect at Corvis/Broadwing. Additional experience includes project management and expertise in IP networking at SITA EQUANT as well as engineering work at Lucent Technologies. Earlier in the career, Karim was a Research Engineer at ASCOM Research Lab. Karim holds a Master's degree in Distributed Systems from the Centre d’étude et de Recherche en Informatique, Communication et Système in France, and a Computer Engineering degree with a focus on telecommunications from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal in Canada.
