Katie Lin is a Silicon Validation Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Katie served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for BUEC 488 at the University of Alberta from January to April 2023, facilitating an introduction to data science using Python. Katie gained valuable experience as a Hardware Engineering Intern at Tesla from May to September 2022, focusing on low voltage systems reliability and test design for electronic modules, and at Cruise from May to August 2021, where the emphasis was on component reliability data analysis for Robotaxis. Additional experience includes working as an Optometric Assistant at Regent Optical Centre from April 2019 to March 2020. Katie holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed in June 2023.
