Leslie Dowdy

Leslie Dowdy has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a SoC Architect and SoC Design Manager at Microchip Technology Inc. since September 2012, overseeing the MCU32 Chandler SoC design team and leading integration efforts for next-generation technology projects. Prior to this role, Leslie was a Design Engineer, leading SoC design and integration for multiple MCU32 devices. Experience also includes working as an ASIC Design Engineer at Exelis, focusing on digital design and verification for communications ASICs, and as a Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, managing various aspects of ASIC design and implementation. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
