Long Tran has over three decades of experience in product and test engineering, currently serving as Associate Director of Product & Test Engineering at Microchip Technology Inc. since April 2010, following a progressive career at SST from August 1998 to April 2010, where roles included Senior Manager and Section Manager in Product Engineering. Prior to SST, Long Tran was a Senior Product Engineer at Winbond and began a career at EXEL Microelectronics, Inc. as a Product/Test Engineer. Earlier experience includes positions as a Test Engineer at Unisys and an intern Programmer at IBM. Long Tran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San José State University.
