Michael Silveira

Michael Silveira is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in the development and design of electronics, particularly in Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC) technology. With a current role as Principal Hardware Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since February 2019, Michael has previously served as Senior Hardware Design Engineer at both Microsemi Corporation and Symmetricom, contributing valuable expertise from November 2013 to February 2019 and from 2005 to 2013, respectively. Earlier in the career, Michael held various engineering and technician positions at Bently Pressurized Bearing Co. from 2003 to 2005. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, earned between 2001 and 2006, following education at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School from 1997 to 2001.
