Michael Simmons

Michael Simmons is a Senior SoC Architect and Designer with extensive international experience in low power, security/cryptography, DFT, and networking. They have served as a Technical Fellow at Microchip Technology Inc. since 2005, leading architectural efforts in wireless technologies and embedded security. Michael previously held positions at companies like Motorola Semiconductor and Freescale, contributing to major projects in microcontroller design and verification methodologies. They hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
