Mike Gomez is a Principal Applications Engineer and Applications Team Leader for the DSPIC Business Unit at Microchip Technology Inc., where they guide a team of nine engineers in the fields of Motor Control and Digital Power Applications. Starting their career at Microchip as a college graduate in 2013, Mike advanced through various roles, culminating in senior leadership positions while contributing to a range of projects and innovations. They have published numerous Application Notes and Technical Briefs, secured a patent, and provided valuable support to clients across EMEA, ASEAN, and the US. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and a Master of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University.
