Mike Pennell is the Director of High Speed Transceiver Engineering (HST) at Microchip Technology, a position held since 2012. They previously served as VP of Mixed Signal Engineering at SMSC from 1999 to 2012 and as Design Manager at Intel from 1997 to 1999. Early in their career, they worked as a Design Engineer at Motorola Semiconductor from 1986 to 1997. Mike earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, where they also completed their undergraduate studies.
