Prakash Reddy

Prakash Reddy is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in digital design and implementation, particularly in the fields of Artificial Neural Networks and video processing on FPGA platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Microchip Technology Inc. since December 2013, Prakash Reddy leads the development of architecture and RTL for CNN accelerator engines using PolarFire FPGA. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Manager at Microsemi, where the implementation of video pipeline architectures and modules such as camera interfaces and image signal processing took place. Earlier positions include Technical Lead at GE Energy Power Conversion, focusing on vector control algorithms for electric drives, and Technical Consultant at IBM Global Services. Prakash Reddy holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, a Master's degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, and a Bachelor's degree from Intell Engineering College.
