Rahim Bagheri is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of R&D experience, currently serving as the Director of Wireless IP Development at Microchip Technology Inc. They have a strong background in project initiation to delivery, team management, and RF-IC design, having pioneered several first and best-in-class solutions, including the industry's first 3-10GHz UWB CMOS Transceiver. Rahim holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and has authored 19 IEEE publications, in addition to possessing 38 patents and patent applications. As a former Co-Founder and President of WiLinx Co., they contributed significantly to high-throughput short-range wireless connectivity solutions. Additionally, Rahim co-founded BroMarks, providing comprehensive design services in the RF and analog IC sector.
