Randy Melton

Randy Melton is a Senior Principal Design Engineer and Security Architect at Microchip, where they focus on the intricate details of microelectronic design and security technologies. Previously, Randy worked at Atmel Corporation for nearly two decades, leading design teams in developing embedded security ASICs and implementing cryptographic algorithms. Prior to that, they served as a Design Engineer for the United States Department of Defense, specializing in standard cell design and custom datapath chip design. Randy earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
