Razvan Morariu

Razvan Morariu, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Corporate Application Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow, where Razvan focused on RF circuit design, simulation, and fabrication for advanced wireless communication systems. Razvan also worked as an Academic Tutor at the University of Glasgow, supporting students in engineering courses, and conducted master's research at imec on wearable sensor technology. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at ARM, contributing to the development of a cache coherent interconnect. Razvan holds a PhD in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and an MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from the University of Glasgow, along with a high school diploma in Mathematics and IT from Unirea National Highschool in Romania.
