Richard Gan

Richard Gan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electronics and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Solution Engineer at Microchip Technology since October 2015, Richard specializes in timing, interfaces, and IoT solutions. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Integrated Device Technology Inc., where responsibilities included market research, competition analysis, and product strategy development, successfully bringing numerous competitive products to market. Richard's earlier positions at IDT involved system and application development for communication standards and architecture design for various products, while a role at Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell focused on leading telecom access projects to successful market launch. Richard holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
