Roger Melcher

Roger Melcher is an experienced professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the Associate Director of Technical and Quality in Wafer Foundry Management at Microchip Technology, INC. since March 1998. In this role, Roger manages over 30 different wafer foundries and provides audit assistance to both suppliers and customers. Prior experience includes positions as Photo Section Manager at ST Microelectronics, Photo Process Engineer at Hitachi Semiconductor, Alliance Semiconductor, and AT&T Network Systems, as well as Semiconductor Process Engineer at US Army ERADCOM. Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned between 1977 and 1982.
