Roger Taylor

Roger Taylor has extensive experience in engineering and product management within the electronics and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Field Application Engineer at Microchip Technology since August 2012, Roger develops strategies to engage with North American car manufacturers while providing support to automotive tier suppliers. Prior roles include working at SMSC and Maxim Integrated Products, where Roger focused on automotive infotainment systems and digital audio products, respectively. Roger's early career at Cirrus Logic spanned nearly 15 years, during which various positions were held that included applications engineering and product marketing. Additionally, a background in marketing management was established at Cicada Semiconductor. Roger holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and began studies at the University of New Orleans.
