Ron Evans

Ron Evans is a Principal Embedded Solutions Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since May 2018, providing pre and post-sales support for Microchip devices, including FPGAs and related design software. Prior to this role, Ron served as a Senior Field Application Engineer at Microsemi from June 2005 to March 2018, assisting with pre and post-sales support for various Microsemi products. Ron's experience also includes positions as a Senior FAE at Globespan from 1999 to 2005, and at Analogy from 1992 to 1999, where support was provided for DSL chipsets and the Saber simulation software, respectively. Earlier roles included work as an Application Engineer at Analogy (Avant!/Synopsys) and as an Analog Circuit Designer at General Dynamics. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Brigham Young University, obtained in 1990.
