Scott Benesh

Scott Benesh is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing software development teams and projects. Currently serving as Sr Mgr - Software Engineering at Microchip Technology Inc. since May 2018, Scott has previously held senior management roles at Microsemi Corporation and PMC-Sierra, overseeing teams responsible for Smart Array controller device drivers. Scott's career began at Hewlett-Packard, where roles included managing Linux storage drivers and engineering network services, with a notable background in process engineering from earlier positions at Hewlett-Packard and Compaq Computer Corporation. Scott holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
