Shaam Rangiah

Shaam Rangiah is a Principal Physical Design Engineer at Microchip Technology, where they focus on physical design implementation and co-design in SOC designs. They possess deep industry experience, having previously worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Broadcom and as a Project Engineer at both Wipro Technologies and Synapse Design Automation Inc. Shaam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras, as well as a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Notably, they have extensive tape-out experience in various technology nodes including 20nm, 28nm, 40nm, 65nm, 90nm, and 130nm designs.
