Steve Carter

Steve Carter has extensive experience in account management and sales within the technology sector, currently serving as the Manager of the Strategic Global Accounts Group at Microchip Technology Inc. since August 2015. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Senior Global Account Manager at the same company. Steve's career began at Texas Instruments as a Project Engineer, followed by a short tenure as a Program Engineer at LTV (now Lockheed Martin). Steve transitioned into regional sales management as a Regional Technical Sales Manager at Optek Technology, before advancing to Sales Director at Micrel, where employment lasted from May 1995 to August 2015. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University.
