Steve Eplett

Steve Eplett is a seasoned professional in digital design and engineering, with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Digital Design Manager at Microchip Technology Inc. since March 2015, Steve leads a team focused on automotive sensor parts and radiation tolerant mixed signal sensor devices. Prior roles include Manager of DTA at Open-Silicon, where responsibilities encompassed ASIC R&D and physical design flow development, and Staff Design Engineer at Tierlogic, where efforts centered on logical verification during mid-development projects. Steve's leadership as Director of Logic Engineering at Lightspeed Logic culminated in the development of Intellectual Property core for ASIC IP, while previous positions at Lattice Semiconductor and Texas Instruments involved critical contributions to chip architecture, design, and integrated circuit development. Steve Eplett holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
