Tim Christianson

Tim Christianson is a seasoned field application engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently a Staff Field Application Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc., Tim has been instrumental in working with leading data center customers to optimize cloud solutions since the company's acquisition of Microsemi in 2018. Prior to this role, Tim served as Principal Field Applications Engineer at Microsemi, focusing on customer engagement and product roadmap development. Tim's career also includes significant positions at Newisys Data Storage, where responsibilities included directing business development and field applications engineering, and at Adaptec, where Tim played a key role as Principal Field Application Engineer guiding major accounts and product development efforts. Early experience at Sharp Electronics Group and Adaptec supplemented Tim's technical expertise in microelectronics and storage solutions. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Pacific.
