Tim Donovan

Tim Donovan is an experienced professional in business operations and strategic marketing, currently serving as the Director of Business Operations and Strategic Marketing at Microchip Technology Inc. since July 2019, following Microsemi's acquisition. Prior to this, Tim held the position of Senior Director of Tactical Marketing at Microsemi Corporation from August 2015 to June 2019. Tim’s extensive career includes roles at Avago Technologies as Corporate Account Manager and a long tenure at Avnet from 1981 to 2012, where positions included Director of Supplier Management, Area Manager for Supplier Sales, Area Product Manager, and Field Sales Representative. Tim's responsibilities have encompassed executing sales and marketing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leading sales teams to achieve operational goals. Tim is an alumnus of Northeastern University.
